<br />46 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1987-6lR <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN (MAP) <br />OF THE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY, OF BLOCK 3, LOTS 8 <br />AND 9, OF THE LINDSEY AND HARVEY ADDITION TO THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, AS RECORDED IN VOLUME Z, <br />PAGE 29 OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, LOCATED ON THE SOUTHWEST SIDE OF THE 200 BLOCK OF <br />MOORE STREET (RANCH ROAD 12) FROM HIGH DENSITY <br />RESIDENTIAL TO COMMERCIAL; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on March 17, 1987, the Joint Planning and Zoning <br />Commissions of the City of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding <br />a request to amend the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of the Master <br />Plan from High Densi ty Residential to Commercial of Block 3, <br />Lots 8 and 9 of the Lindsey and Harvey Addition, located on the <br />southwest side of the 200 Block of Moore Street (Ranch Road 12), <br />Hays County, Texas: and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, subsequent to said public hearing on said date, said <br />Commissions did, on March 17,1987, consider said request and <br />voted to approve the same and have recommended that such <br />request be approved by the City Council of said City; and, <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said City Council held a public hearing on the <br />May, 1987, regarding such request: and, <br /> <br />27 <br /> <br />day <br /> <br />WHEREAS, all requirements <br />amendments have been met; and, <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Master <br /> <br />Plan <br /> <br />pertaining <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said City Council hereby finds and determines that the <br />adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the public <br />health, morals, welfare and safety: now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> <br />SAN <br /> <br />MARCOS, <br /> <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That the following described tract of real property <br />located on the southwest side of the 200 Block of Moore Street (Ranch <br />Road 12), San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which is in an area shown <br />on the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of the Master Plan of the City of <br />San Marcos as High Density Residential shall be shown on said map as <br />Commercial: <br /> <br />BLOCK 3, LOTS 8 AND 9, OF THE LINDSEY AND HARVEY ADDITION TO <br />THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, AS RECORDED IN <br />VOLUME Z, PAGE 29 OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS. <br /> <br />PART 2.
