<br />47 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1987-62R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN (MAP) <br />OF THE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY, OF BLOCK 11, OF THE <br />LINDSEY AND HARVEY ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, AS RECORDED IN VOLUME Z, PAGE 29 OF <br />HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, A/K/A <br />411 W. HOPKINS FROM LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO <br />COMMERCIAL: AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on March 17, 1987, the Joint Planning and Zoning <br />Commissions of the City of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding <br />a request to amend the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of the Master <br />Plan from Low Density Residential to Commercial of Block 11 <br />of the Lindsey and Harvey Addition, a/k/a 411 W. Hopkins Street, <br />Hays County, Texas; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, subsequent to said public hearing on said date, said <br />Commissions did, on March 17,1987, consider said request and <br />voted to approve the same and have recommended that such <br />request be approved by the City Council of said City: and, <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said City Council held a public hearing on the <br />May, 1987, regarding such request: and, <br /> <br />27 <br /> <br />day <br /> <br />WHEREAS, all requirements <br />amendments have been met; and, <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />~las ter <br /> <br />Plan <br /> <br />pertaining <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said City Council hereby finds and determines that the <br />adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the public <br />health, morals, welfare and safety: now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> <br />SAN <br /> <br />MARCOS, <br /> <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That the following described tract of real property <br />a/k/a 411 W. Hopkins Street, San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which is <br />in an area shown on the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of the Master Plan <br />of the City of San Marcos as Low Density Residential shall be <br />shown on said map as Commercial: <br /> <br />BLOCK 11, OF THE LINDSEY AND HARVEY ADDITION TO THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, AS RECORDED IN VOLUME Z, PAGE 29 <br />OF HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS. <br /> <br />PART 2.
