<br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
<br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN (MAP)
<br />OF THE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY, OF BLOCK 37 AND 38
<br />AND BLOCK 36, LOTS 1-3, VICTORY GARDENS SECOND ADDITION
<br />TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, AS
<br />RECORDED IN VOLUME 130, PAGE 48 OF HAYS COUNTY DEED
<br />RECORDS, SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, A/K/A ECONOMY GROCERY AND
<br />CHAUHTEMOC HALL FROM LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO COMMERCIAL~
<br />AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, on April 21, 1987, the Joint Planning and Zoning
<br />Commissions of the City of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding
<br />a request to amend the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of the Master
<br />Plan from Low Density Residential to Commercial of Block 37 and
<br />38 and Block 36, Lots 1-3, Victory Gardens Second Addition, Hays
<br />County, Texas~ and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, subsequent to said public hearing on said date, said
<br />Commissions did, on April 21,1987, consider said request and
<br />voted to approve the same and have recommended that such
<br />request be approved by the City Council of said City~ and,
<br />
<br />of
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said City Council held a public hearing on the
<br />July, 1987, regarding such request~ and,
<br />

<br />WHEREAS, all requirements
<br />amendments have been met; and,
<br />

<br />Master
<br />
<br />Plan
<br />
<br />pertaining
<br />
<br />to

<br />WHEREAS, said City Council hereby finds and determines that the
<br />adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the public
<br />health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore,
<br />
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />
<br />SAN
<br />
<br />MARCOS,
<br />
<br />TEXAS:
<br />
<br />PART 1. That the following described tract of real property
<br />a/k/a Economy Grocery Store and Chauhtemoc Hall, San Marcos, Hays
<br />County, Texas, which is in an area shown on the Future Land Use Plan
<br />(Map) of the Master Plan of the City of San Marcos as
<br />Low Density Residential shall be shown on said map as Commercial:
<br />
<br />BLOCK 37 AND 38 AND BLOCK 36, LOTS 1-3, VICTORY GARDENS SECOND
<br />ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS,
<br />AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 130, PAGE 48 OF HAYS COUNTY DEED
<br />RECORDS.
<br />
<br />PART 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
<br />from and after its passage.
