<br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
<br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN (MAP)
<br />OF THE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY, OF BLOCK 1, LOTS 1-8
<br />DAN MCKIE SECOND ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS,
<br />HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 29, PAGE 115
<br />OF HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, SAN MARCOS, TEXAS,
<br />A/K/A CHAPULTEPEC HOMES PUBLIC HOUSING FROM LOW DENSITY
<br />RESIDENTIAL TO PUBLIC USE; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE
<br />DATE.
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, on April 21, 1987, the Joint Planning and Zoning
<br />Commissions of the City of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding
<br />a request to amend the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of the Master
<br />Plan from Commercial to Public Use of Block 1, Lots 1-8, Dan McKie
<br />Second Addition, Hays County, Texas; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, subsequent to said public hearing on said date, said
<br />Commissions did, on April 21,1987, consider said request and
<br />voted to approve the same and have recommended that such
<br />request be approved by the City Council of said City; and,
<br />
<br />of

<br />WHEREAS, said City Council held a public hearing on the
<br />July, 1987, regarding such request; and,
<br />

<br />WHEREAS, all requirements
<br />amendments have been met; and,

<br />WHEREAS, said City Council hereby finds and determines that the
<br />adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the public
<br />health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore,
<br />
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />
<br />SAN
<br />
<br />MARCOS,
<br />
<br />TEXAS:
<br />
<br />PART 1. That the following described tract of real property
<br />a/k/a Chapultepec Homes Public Housing, San Marcos, Hays County,
<br />Texas, which is in an area shown on the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of
<br />the Master Plan of the City of San Marcos as Commercial
<br />shall be shown on said map as Public Use:
<br />
<br />BLOCK 1, LOTS 1-8, DAN MCKIE SECOND ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
<br />SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 29, PAGE
<br />115 OF HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS.
<br />
<br />PART 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
<br />from and after its passage.
