<br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
<br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN (MAP)
<br />OF THE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY, OF BLOCK 3, LOTS
<br />13 THROUGH 15 AND BLOCK 4, LOTS 11 THROUGH 14 OF THE
<br />VICTORY GARDENS-FIRST SECTION TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS,
<br />HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 128, PAGE 46
<br />OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, SAN MARCOS, TEXAS,
<br />LOCATED AT 209 CAMACHO STREET, 606 AND 608 MACARTHUR
<br />STREET AND 202 AND 206 ROOSEVELT STREET FROM COMMERCIAL
<br />TO LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE
<br />DATE.
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, on June 16, 1987, the Joint Planning and Zoning
<br />Commissions of the City of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding
<br />a request to amend the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of the Master
<br />Plan from Commercial to Low Density Residential of Block 3,
<br />Lots 13 through 15 and Block 4, Lots 11 through 14 of the Victory
<br />Gardens-First Section, located at 209 Camacho Street, 606 and 608
<br />MacArthur Street and 202 and 206 Roosevelt Street, Hays County, Texas;
<br />and,
<br />
<br />vvHEREAS,

<br />voted to
<br />such request
<br />
<br />subsequent to said public hearing on said date, said
<br />did, on June 16,1987, consider said request and
<br />approve the same and have recommended that
<br />be approved by the City Council of said City; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said City Council held a public hearing on the
<br />of August, 1987, regarding such request; and,
<br />

<br />WHEREAS, said City Council hereby finds and determines that the
<br />adoption of the following resolution.is in the interest of the public
<br />health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore,

<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF

<br />SAN
<br />
<br />MARCOS,
<br />
<br />TEXAS:
<br />
<br />PART 1. That the following described tract of real property
<br />located at 209 Camacho Street, 606 and 608 MacArthur Street and 202 and
<br />206 Roosevelt Street, San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which is in an
<br />area shown on the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of the Master Plan of the
<br />City of San Marcos as Commercial shall be shown on said map as Low
<br />Density Residential:

<br />BLOCK 3, LOTS 13 THROUGH 15 AND BLOCK 4, LOTS 11 THROUGH 14
<br />OF THE VICTORY GARDENS-FIRST SECTION TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS,
<br />HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 128, PAGE 46
<br />OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, SAN MARCOS, TEXAS.
<br />
<br />PART 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
<br />from and after its passage.
