Roll Call <br /> Present: 7- Mayor Pro Tem Shane Scott, Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Alyssa Garza, Council <br /> Member Amanda Rodriguez, Mayor Jane Hughson, Council Member Lorenzo <br /> Gonzalez, Council Member Matthew Mendoza and Council Member Josh Paselk <br /> Ill. Invocation <br /> Pastor Ric Robertson from New Zion Baptist Church provided this evening's <br /> invocation. <br /> IV. Pledges of Allegiance - United States and Texas <br /> V. Citizen Comment Period <br /> Joe Castillo of Hays Helping Hands asked the Council to reconsider HSAB's <br /> recommendation of no funding for the organization's community assistance <br /> program, stating it is essential for helping families with rent, utilities, and <br /> emergency needs. He requested combining the group's two requests (Shoes and <br /> Coats plus Community Assistance) for a total of$15,000 to $20,000. <br /> Chrispy Polanco spoke about digital accessibility on the city's website, noting <br /> upcoming compliance deadlines and offering to assist with testing, suggesting <br /> additional resources from state and local agencies. <br /> Melinda Grahmann, a resident on FM 1978, opposed the Sedona South <br /> subdivision, expressing concern that road widening would encroach on her <br /> property. <br /> Lucia Diaz, also from FM 1978, expressed unease about unsolicited interest in <br /> City of San Marcos Page 1 <br />
