RESOLUTION NO. 2026-128R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING A CONTRACT WITH FREEIT DATA <br /> SOLUTIONS INC., THROUGH THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF <br /> INFORMATION RESOURCES, FOR THE PURCHASE OF LICENSING <br /> AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES FOR A SECURITY SOFTWARE <br /> SOLUTION TO ENHANCE THE CITY'S SECURITY POSTURE IN THE <br /> AMOUNT OF $229,900.00 OVER FIVE YEARS; AUTHORIZING THE <br /> CITY MANAGER,OR HER DESIGNEE,TO EXECUTE THE CONTRACT <br /> AND ANY RENEWALS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND DECLARING <br /> AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. The contract with Freeit Data Solutions, Inc.,through the Texas Department of <br /> Information Resources (DIR) (Contract No. DIR-CPO-5175), for the purchase of licensing and <br /> maintenance services for a security software solution in the amount of$229,900.00 over five years, <br /> is hereby approved. <br /> PART 2. The City Manager, or her designee, is authorized to execute the contract on <br /> behalf of the city. <br /> PART 3.
