<br />A. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br />RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR ELECTRIC SERVICE <br /> <br />~etered Consumptions Not Combined <br />- - <br /> <br />For the purpose of calculating charges, each meter on the cus- <br />tomer's premises will be considered separately, and the consump- <br />tions recorded by two or more meters will not be combined except <br />as follows: <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />Where the combination of metered consumptions are spe- <br />cifically provided for in rate schedules. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />Where the maintenance of adequate service and/or where <br />the City's operating convenience shall require the in- <br />stallation of two or more meters Upon the customer's <br />premises instead of one meter. <br /> <br />Interruption of Service <br /> <br />The city will exercise reasonable diligence and care to <br />avoid any interruption of or reduction in the delivery of <br />electricity. The City shall not be liable for any damages <br />or claims arising from any failure to deliver electric power <br />and energy to the customer, which failure in any way or man- <br />ner results from failure of its facilities, however caused, <br />or from failure of any supplier to provide necessary pro- <br />ducts, materials or services necessary to the continuity of <br />electric service. <br /> <br />The City, whenever it shall find it necessary for the pur- <br />pose of making repairs or improvements to its system, wi~l <br />have the right to interrupt temporarily the delivery of ser- <br />vice. Normally, when a primary distribution line clearance <br />is needed, a reasonable notiee will be given to the custom- <br />ers of the proposed interruption when it occurs other than <br />under emergency condi tions . The City cons iders notice to <br />customers by way of public media to be a reasonable notice. <br />The making of such repairs or improvements will be carried <br />out as rapidly as practicable, to cause the least inconven- <br />ience to the customer. <br />
