<br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br />RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR ELECTRIC SERVICE <br /> <br />Refusal of Service <br /> <br />Com~liance bY Ap~licant <br /> <br />The city may decline to serve an applicant until such appli- <br />cant has complied with the state and municipal regulations <br />and approved rules and regulations of the City for the fol- <br />lowing reasons: <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />(2) <br /> <br />(3) <br /> <br />(4) <br /> <br />(5) <br /> <br />(6) <br /> <br />Applicant I S facilities inadequate: If the appli- <br />cant's installation or equipment is known to be <br />hazardous or of such character that satisfactory <br />service cannot be given: or <br /> <br />For indebtedness: If the applicant is indebted to <br />the City for any kind of municipal service. <br /> <br />Refusal to make deposit: For refusal to make the <br />required cash deposit. <br /> <br />Failure to pay the bill of another customer at the <br />same address when the ci ty determines that the <br />change of customer identity is being made to avoid <br />or evade payment of a bill. This applies to an <br />applicant who is benefiting from the service of a <br />current customer who is indebted to the City for <br />electric service at the same address. <br /> <br />Failure to provide proper identification satisfac- <br />tory to the City. <br /> <br />Failure to meet the minimum age requirement of 18 <br />years. <br /> <br />Applicant's Recourse <br /> <br />In the event that the City shall refuse to serve an appli- <br />cant under the provisions of these rules, the City will in- <br />form the applicant of the basis of its refusal of service. <br />The applicant may file a complaint with the City Manager of <br />the city. <br />
