AN ORDINANCE OF 'IRE CITY COUNCI L OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING EXHIBITS A AND B 'IO SECTIONS 30-27 AND 30-35, RESPECTIVELY, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY TO INCREASE THE ŒARGES 'IO BE PAID BY ALL PERSONS OW\JING OR OCŒJPYING PREMISES ~'I1HICH ARE CONNECTED WITH THE WATER SYSTErvl OF SAID CITY; 'IO INCREASE THE RATES FOR SERVICES TO USERS OF THE SANITARY SEWAGE SYSTEM OF SAID CITY; AND DECIARING AN EMERGENCY. ORDINANCE 1987-130 BE IT ORDAINED BY 'IRE CITY COUNCI L OF THE CITY OF SAN fI1ARCOS, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Exhibit A to Section 30-27 of the Code of Ordinances, City of San Marcos, Texas, is hereby amended as sham thereon, and the same is attached hereto and made a part hereof for a 11 purposes. SECTION 2. That Exhibit B to Section 30-35 of the Code of Ordinances, City of San Marcos, Texas, is hereby amended as shown thereon, and the same is attached hereto and made a part hereof for all purposes. SECTION 3. That the importance of this Ordinance creates an emergency and an imperative public necessity so that the provisions of the Charter requiring that ordinances shall be presented at three separate meetings and that no ordinance shall become effective until the expiration of ten (10) days following the date of its final passage be suspended, and these provisions are hereby suspended, and this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and after its publication in a newspaper of general circulation within the City as provided by the City Charter of the City of San Marcos.
