Vehicle lease cost - In order to conduct successful undercover operations, <br />the Unit must have access to unmarked vehicles. At present, the San Marcos <br />Police Department does not have any unmarked units that are not known in <br />the community. In addition, there are no excess vehicles available. <br />Vendor has agreed to lease two vehicles at $450.00 per month, per vehicle. <br />The officers in the Unit will have the option of trading out vehicles as <br />necessary to protect their undercover status. <br /> <br />B. Registration fee per seminar announcement. <br /> <br />C. Registration fee per seminar announcement. <br /> <br />D. Confidential funds - In order to cultivate and utilize informants, <br />confidential funds must be established. The estimated funds necessary <br />for the year is $5,000 of which the City will provide a cash match of <br />25%. <br /> <br />E.
