No person may <br />operate an aircraft within a Group I ter- <br />minal control area designated in Part 71 of <br />this chapter except in compliance with the <br />following rules: <br /> <br />(i) No person may operate an air- <br />craft within a Group I terminal control <br />area unless he has received an appropriate <br />authorization from ATC prior to the op- <br />eration of that aircraft in that area. <br /> <br />(ii) Unless otherwise authorized by <br />ATC, each person operating a large tur- <br />bine engine powered airplane to or from <br />a primary airport shall operate at or <br />above the designated floors while within <br />the lateral limits of the terminal control <br />area. <br /> <br />ct!. 26 (Arndt. 91-150.
