<br />RESOLUTION 2010- R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING LISTS OF QUALIFIED ARCHITECTS <br />AND ENGINEERS FOR THE PROVISION OF PROFESSIONAL ON- <br />CALL ENGINEERING AND ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES AS <br />NECESSARY IN CONNECTION WITH VARIOUS CITY <br />CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. The City solicited proposals in response to a Request for Proposals (RFP No. 209- <br />044) for On-Call Architectural Services/Architectural Services-Landscape ("Architectural <br />Services") and in response to a Request for Proposals (RFP 201-050) for On-Call Engineering <br />Services for Parks and Public Facilities ("Engineering Services"). <br />2. On October 26, 2009, the City received 49 proposals for Architectural Services <br />and 38 proposals for Engineering Services. <br />3. Subsequently, two City selection committees convened and evaluated the <br />proposals. Based on the evaluator's scores, the following is a list of the top seven qualified firms <br />for Architectural Services. This list will remain active for a period of two years from the date of <br />this resolution: <br />Gomillion, Kester, Zimmerman, Inc. <br />Beaty Palmer Architects, Inc. <br />Land Design Partners, Inc. <br />Ford, Powell and Carson, Inc. <br />RVK Architects <br />Brown Reynolds Watford Architects <br />Jackson Galloway Associates <br />4. Based on the evaluator's scores, the following is a list of the top seven qualified <br />firms for Architectural Services/Landscape.
