186. Regular Meeting January 26, 2004 Page 10 Mayor Habingreither introduced a discussion regarding American Heart Walk to be held on Saturday, March 6, 2004. Mayor Habingreither stated he would like to see Council Members and City employees be involved in this walk to help raise money for the American Heart cause. The Council agreed by consensus to be involved in the American Heart Walk. Mayor Habingreither introduced the City Council's Report. 1) Ms. Narvaiz stated she was appointed to the National League of Cities' Finance Administration Intergovernmental Relations Policy Committee and will be attending a meeting in Washington D.C. in March. 2) Ms. Narvaiz stated she attended a meeting where Representative Patrick Rose spoke regarding additional ways the State can help with economic development. 3) Ms. Narvaiz stated she is a member of the Main Street Advisory Board. She stated the Planning and Zoning Commission has asked the Main Street Advisory Board for additional information regarding height restrictions in the downtown area. ..She stated the feedback from the Main Street Advisory Board, they would like the height restrictions be revisited and also at a later date visit the idea of a Downtown Master Plan. Mayor Habingreither introduced an Executive Session pursuant to the Government Code, Section 551.087, to discuss commercial or financial information that the governmental body has received from a business prospect that the governmental body seeks to have locate, stay or expand in or near the territory of the governmental body and with which the governmental body is conducting economic development negotiations; or to deliberate the offer of a financial or other incentive to such a business prospect (Area Chamber and Hispanic Chamber prospect-reports; development incentive proposals - Clovis Barker Drive area; Outlet Mall area). Ms. Narvaiz moved the Council adjourn into Executive Session at 11:05 p.m. and Mr. Thomaides seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Mihalkanin moved the Council reconvene at 11:53 p.m. and Ms. Narvaiz seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Habingreither introduced for consideration action or direction to Staff on matters discussed in Executive Session. Mayor Habingreither stated there were no actions or direction at this time.
