Narrative of the Purgatory Hike /Bike Trail Location. <br />The Purgatory Hike /Bike Trail (PHBT) begins at the <br />edge of the right- of- way(ROW) of FM 2439 (Hunter <br />Road), Just southeast of the intersection of FM 2439 <br />and FM 3407 (Wonder World Drive). It travels <br />southwest In City of San Marcos owned parkland, <br />making four (4) entries into Texas Department of <br />Transportation (TxDOT) ROW. <br />After traveling approximately 1,460 feet parallel to <br />FM 3407, on City parkland, the PHBT has it's first <br />crossing at approximately Station 173 +86 to provide <br />a future connection to the trail extension. <br />Continuing westward, approximately 580 feet, the <br />trail briefly enters the TxDOT ROW at Sta 168 +11.00 <br />and exiting book onto City parkland at Sta. 166 +91.00. <br />It then continues on west for approximately 400 feet, <br />before crossing the ROW at Station 162 +61.00, <br />crossing to the north side of the FM 3407 ROW into <br />City parkland. <br />As it continues west for another 600 feet, it <br />connects to an existing trail that crosses the <br />FM 3407 ROW at STa. 156 +72.00. The trail at this <br />point connects the existing trail on both sides of <br />FM 3407. ,additional extensions will connect to <br />the shoulders of Wonder World for bicycle access. <br />Genera I Comments <br />Each crossing varies between 120 feet to 315 feet in <br />length, and will be in a section of FM 3407 that is a <br />bridge. All crossings will be under the proposed <br />bridge and not cause interference with vehicular <br />traffic. <br />EXHIBIT B <br />PROJECT LAYOUT <br />PURGATORY HIKE /BIKE TRAIL <br />
