248. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2004 - 34 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING THE CITY'S APPLICATION WAIVER OF <br />THE JUVENILE ACCOUNTABILITY INCENTIVE BLOCK GRANT; <br />DESIGNATING HAYS COUNTY AS THE RECIPIENT OF THE CITY'S <br />ALLOCATED AMOUNT; AGREEING TO PARTICIPATE IN THE JUVENILE <br />CRIME ENFORCEMENT COALITION ("JCEC") AND NAMING <br />REPRESENTATIVES TO SERVE ON THE JCEC; AUTHORIZING THE <br />CITY MANAGER TO SIGN THE G RANT APPLICATION WAIVER AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br /> PART 1. The City's waiver of its eligibility to apply for a Juvenile Accountability <br />Incentive Block Grant from the Criminal Justice Division, Office of the Governor, is <br />approved. <br /> <br /> PART 2. Hays County is designated as the recipient of the City's allocated <br />funding for this grant program. <br /> <br />PART 3. The City agrees to participate in the JCEC created by Hays County. <br /> <br /> PART 4. <br />the JCEC. <br /> <br />Rodney Vanoudekerke is designated as the City's representative on <br /> <br /> PART 5. That the City Manager, Dan O'Leary, is authorized to eXecute the <br />Application Waiver for the Juvenile Accountability Incentive Block Grant and any related <br />documents. <br /> <br /> PART 6.
