RADIO REPEATER <br /> <br />(1) All DFS .RTUs have the capability of being used as a digi-peater for relaying <br /> messages from the central site (HSS) to any other RTU. The responSe messages <br /> from the destination RTU may be digipeated, to the HSS by the same RTU that <br /> forwarded the message to the destinatiOn RTU. Mapping of digipeating is user- <br /> configurable from any HyperTAC II configured workstation. The communications <br /> driver Suppods four (4) levels of digipeating. <br /> <br />7. LICENSING A. FCC licensing is included with the pricing provided in this proposal. <br /> <br /> B.. This system is designed to be serviced and maintained by the typical utility operator. <br /> <br /> C. Please see warranty statement in this proposal. <br /> <br />8. FACTORY WARRANTY <br /> <br />Ao <br /> <br />Data Flow Systems, Inc. (DFS) warrants all hardware and software provided under <br />this contract against all defects in material and workmanship for a period of one <br />year. DFS warrants the telemetry software to be free of defects for as 'long as it is <br />operational in the county. DFS will also provide free updates to this software for the <br />life of the system. The function modules utilized in the remote terminal units carry <br />an additional 2 year return-to-factory warranty. The 2 year return-to-factory warranty <br />also covers damage due to lightning. <br /> <br />9. QUOTATION NOTES <br /> A. This quotation assumes that entry by our employees into "Confined Spaces" and/or <br /> "Permit-Required Confined Spaces" as defined by OSHA, is not required by the <br /> scope of the work to be performed under this quotation. <br /> B. This quotation assumes that all electrical equipment to be accessed by our <br /> employees, can be temporarily removed from service. <br /> C. This quotation assumes that Bloc Design-Build employees will be assisted full time, <br /> by Muhammad Shadi, or the Cities current SCADA technician, during the RTU and <br /> Central Site Installations <br /> <br />10. MATERIAL NOTES <br /> A. Instrumentation not specificallY stated as being supplied by Bloc Design-Build, is not <br /> included. <br /> B. Existing instrumentation is assumed to be, properly installed, calibrated and in good <br /> working condition. <br /> C.
