Mr. Sutton asked that no <br />high level, terminated employees be replaced until the Council <br />could decide which positions they wanted to keep. Mr. Breihan <br />stated his concern that there were no employees left in the <br />Recreation Department to plan and administer the spring and <br />summer programs. Mr. James agreed and Mr. Hyatt said he felt <br />it should be up to the City Manager whether or not to hire a <br />replacement. Council took no action on the item. <br /> <br />The meeting was recessed to executive session at 8:25 p.m. on <br />motion of Mr. Hansen and second of Mr. Hyatt. The meeting was <br />reconvened in regular session at 9:25 p.m. on motion of <br />Mr. Hansen and second of Mr. James. The Mayor announced that <br />the Council had discussed personnel items. Mr. Hyatt moved <br />that Barbara Jean Edwards be appointed City Attorney. Mr. Hansen <br />seconded the motion which passed unanimously. Mr. Hyatt stated <br />that the annual salary for the City Attorney would be $15,750. <br /> <br />The meeting adjourned at 9:30 p.m. on motion of Mr. Hyatt and <br />second of Mr. Hansen. <br /> <br />~~ <br /> <br />Robert L.
