Hansen <br /> <br />Council Members <br /> <br />Ted Breihan <br />Robert L. Cavazos <br />Bob Hyatt <br />Berry R. James <br />Kenneth E. Sutton <br />Gilbert Tenorio <br /> <br />City Manager <br />City Secretary <br />City Attorney <br />Director of Public Works <br /> <br />Royal Dunlap <br />Doriss Hambrick <br />Barbara Jean Edwards <br />Ray Kotowski <br /> <br />Also Present: Gordon Thompson, Robbie Robins, Terry Roberts, <br />Jerri Martin, and others. <br /> <br />The Mayor called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The City Secretary read the caption of an ordinance as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, ANNEXING TO <br />SAID CITY A CONTIGUOUS TRACT OF LAND <br />CONTAINING 167.03 ACRES LOCATED WITHIN <br />THE EXTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION OF <br />SAID CITY AND LYING ADJACENT TO PRESENT <br />CITY BOUNDARIES; AND ESTABLISHING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mr. Hyatt moved the ordinance be adopted on third and final <br />reading. Mr. Cavazos seconded the motion. Mr. Tenorio <br />questioned a letter which had been received that day from <br />Haysco Water Supply Corporation President, Jimmy C. Parker. <br />The letter alleges that the annexation violates the service <br />boundaries of Haysco Water Supply Corporation. The City <br />Attorney informed the Council that her research indicated <br />the allegation was untrue based on information she had <br />received from the Public Utilities Commission and the Texas <br />Department of Water Resources. On roll call, the motion to <br />adopt the ordinance on third and final reading was unanimously <br />approved. <br /> <br />The meeting adjourned at 5:35 p.m. on motion of Mr. Breihan <br />and second of Mr. Cavazos. <br /> <br />\1J; ~ (} 1/~J1,~,- <br />(fih~:~:.
