Parker; Harry Overstreet; Joe Ferran; Tom <br />Partin; James Hudson; Allyn Gill; Gary Bond; John <br />Tucker; Chris Bishop; and others. <br /> <br />The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:30 .p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Cavazos presented a proclamation for Student Government <br />Day to members of the Student Government of the San Marcos High <br />School. <br /> <br />The Minutes of the Regular Meeting held Monday, November 13, <br />1978, were approved on motion of Mr. Hansen and second of Mr. Hyatl <br />The Minutes of the Special Meeting held Thursday, November 16, 197/ <br />were approved on motion of Mr. Hansen and second of Mr. Hyatt. <br />The Minutes of the Special Meeting held Saturday, November 18, <br />1978, were approved on motion of Mr. Hansen and second of <br />Mr. Hyatt. The Minutes of the Special Meeting held Sunday, <br />November 19, 1978 were approved on motion of Mr. Hansen and <br />second of Mr. James. <br /> <br />Mayor Cavazos introduced for consideration appointment of a <br />member to the Central Texas Higher Education Authority to fill <br />the vacancy created by the resignation of John Cunningham. <br />Mr. Hansen moved the appointment of Mr. John Dorbandt. Mr. James <br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Cavazos read the caption of an ordinance as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, A}IENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE <br />\~ICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE <br />OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED MAY 23, 1966 <br />(VOL. 32) BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF LOTS 133 THROUGH 156 <br />OF THE WESTOVER ADDITION, TWO 'BLOCKS BOUNDED BY EARLE, <br />DARTMOUTH, COLUMBIA AND HAZELTON STREETS, FROM "R-l" <br />(SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) TO "R- 2" (DUPLEX). <br /> <br />Mr. Hansen moved the Ordinance be adopted on third and final <br />reading. Mr. Breihan seconded the motion, which passed unanimous <br />
