Required documentation included with bid proposal: • Acknowledgements o All three required were made, Addendums, Bid Bond, and SBQ (See Appendix B) • Statement of Bidder's Qualifications • Included and reviewed. Information appears to be accurate and complete, and no serious issues were detected. • Reviewed financial statement. Contractor's financial abilities appear to be adequate for the project. Note that between the time of review, start of construction and completion of construction financial elements may change. Based on the contractor being able to procure bonding for the project, this confirms that the contractor is financially capable of beginning the work. • Contacted sampling of references (See Appendix C), Both owners and engineers representing projects appear to recommend the contractors ability to construct quality projects. All contacted, that responded, would recommend them to work on additional. • Bid • Bid included in the format supplied by the City and Engineer. Bid was reviewed, summarized and compared to the competing bids. (See Appendix D) • Bid was not mathematically or materially unbalanced. Mathematically unbalanced bids contain bid prices that do not reflect reasonable actual costs plus reasonable share of the bidder's anticipated profit, overhead and other indirect costs.
