Leddick, Director PARD <br /> <br />Girl Scout House <br /> <br />March 30, 1977 <br /> <br />RE: <br /> <br />At the March 24th meeting of the Parks and Recreation Advisory <br />Board it was recommended by the Board to the City Council that <br />the Girl Scouts continue to use the Girl Scout House, provided <br />it is scheduled through the Parks and Recreation Department who <br />in turn set pOlicies for such use. . The policies set are the same <br />as those we have used in the past to be as follows. This was <br />agreed to by the Girl Scout Representatives. <br /> <br />The City allows the Girl Scouts to use this facility, to be <br />scheduled through the Parks and Recreation Department, with <br />the following services being provided by the Girl Scouts as <br />Policies of the Parks and Recreation Department: <br /> <br />l. Insure the property for loss or damage by fire, explosion <br />wind storms or other casualties comprehended under what is <br />commonly known as "Extended coverage" hazard ,insurance. <br /> <br />2. Provide pu~lic liability insurance with $50,000 and <br />$100,00 limits. <br /> <br />3. To indemnify and forever hold the City harmless for each and <br />every claim demanded or cause of action arising out of <br />the.activities of the Girl Scouts, their invitees, guests <br />employees or agents. <br /> <br />4. Show proof of insurance. <br /> <br />5. To keep the interior of said house in the same state of <br />repair as it was received. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />6. Not to sublease the property. <br /> <br />7. Allow the City of San Marcos to enter the property for <br />reasonable purposes. <br /> <br />8. Make no alterations or additions to the property. <br /> <br />9. At the sole expense of the Girl Scouts to maintain at <br />their expense the interior and exterior of the structure. <br />
