"WATER SERVICE" OF CHAPl'ER 30, EI:iITITLED "WATER AND SEWERS AND SJ;mAGE DISPOSAL" OF THE <XlDE OF ORDINANCES OF SAID CITY BY IOCREASlN; THE RATES CHARGED FOR THE FIRST 2,000 GALLONS OF WATER USAGE OR LESS AND SElTING ONE RATE FOR EACH ADDITIONAL THOUSAND GALLONS, BY PROVIDING THAT EACH APAR'IMENr AND TRAILER SHALL BY CONSIDERED AS A SINGLE RESIDENrIAL UNIT AND BY PROVIDING FOR 'IW) SCHEDULES OF RATES, ONE FOR URBAN CUS'JU.IERS (UW-l) AND ONE FOR RURAL CUSTCMERS (RW-l); BY AMENDING SECTION 30-~, EI:ilTITLED l\RATES" OF DIVISION 3, ENTITLED "SEWER SERVICE" OF CHAP1'ER 30, ENTITLED "WATER AND 1S'llNERS AND SEWAGE DISPOSAL" OF THE CODE OF ORDINAN:ES OF SAID CITY BY IN::REASING THE RATES CHARGED FOR THE FIRST 2,000 GALLONS OF WATER USAGE OR LESS, SEITING ONE RATE FOR THE NEXT 6,000 GALLONS OF WATER USAGE AND PROVIDING THAT TllEBE BY ill ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR SEWER SERVICES FOR WATER OSAGE AND EXCESS OF 8,000 GALLONS, BY PROVIDlN; FOR 'IWJ SCHEDULES OF RATES, ONE FOR RESIDENrIAL CUSTCMERS (SR-l) AND ONE FOR CClMMERI.:IAL AND INDUSTRIAL CUS'KMERS (SC-l); AND DBCLARIl.>G AN EFFEX:.I'IVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY ~IL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: SOCTION 1. That section 30-27, Entitled "Rates" of Division 2, Entitled "Water Service" of Chapter 30, Entitled "Water And Sewers and Sewage Oisposal"of the Code of Ordinances, City of San Marcos, Texas, is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 30-27. Rates (a) A Charge shall be paid by all persons ownirg or occupying premises which are connected with the watec syst6t\ of the city in accordance with the rates as des=ibed in "Exhibit A" as attached hereto and made apart of this section. Said rates are hereby in full force and effect until amended by ordinance duly passed and approved by the City c=cil of the City of San Marcos, Texas. Said exhibit shall be kept on file in the office of the City Secretary of said City. SOCTION 2. That section 30-35, Entitled "Rates", of Division 3, Entitled "Sewer Service" of Chapter 30, Entitled "Water and Sewers, and Sewage Disposal" of the Code of o-,Cdi..'1ances, City of San Marcos, Texas, is hereby amendei to read as follows: Section 30-35. Rates 'The rates for services to users of t.':le sanitary sewage systen of the city shall be as described in "Exhibit B" as attached hereto and made a part of this section. Said rates are hereby levied and are in full force and effect until amended by ordinance duly passed and approved by the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas. Said exhibit shall be kept on file in the office of the City Secretary of said City. SEl:TIaN 3. That this Ordinance shall becane effective ten (10) days frcm and after its final passage and publication in a newspaper of general circulation in the area.
