On the Tenorio motion to amend the rate schedules to <br />apply the 100% billing factor to all entities leaving the 90% occupancy factor <br />for multi-dwelling units, the roll call was recorded as follows: <br /> <br />AYE: Cavazos, Hyatt, Hansen, SUtton, Tenorio <br /> <br />NAY: James, Breihan <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The Mayor's motion to amend the rate schedules to apply schedule (SC-l) <br />to all other self water supplying custaners passed unanimously. On the rrain <br />rrotion to adopt the ordinance on second reading with the amended rate schedule <br />to delete the decaying rate factor, the vote was recorded as follows: <br /> <br />AYE: Hansen, James, Sutton, Tenorio, Cavazos, Hyatt <br />NAY: Breihan <br /> <br />Mayor Hansen moved to place third reading of the ordinance on the December lOth <br />regular meeting agenda and that all parties be asked to provide proof of financial <br />hardship to the City Council by that date. Mr. Cavazos seconded the rrotion which <br />passed unan:irnousl y . <br /> <br />Dr. Jack Bryum, President of San Marcos Baptist Academy, came before the City <br />Council to request that the City Manager be authorized to conduct a study to <br />determine the feasibility of extension of wastewater service to the new Acadarry <br />site outside the City on Ranch Road 12. Mr. Cavazos rroved the request be approved <br />and that the City Manager be authorized be conduct such a study. .1I1r. James seconded <br />the rrotion which passed unanimously. Mr. Gonzalez told the Council that no cost <br />would be incurred by the City in tenus of using outside consulting agencies without <br />prior approval by the City Council. <br /> <br />Mr. Breihan roved to appoint Councilmember Gilbert Tenorio to serve as the City's I <br />representative to the Capital Area Planning Council General AssEmbly. Mr. Hyatt <br />seconded the motion which passed unanimously. . <br /> <br />In the question and answer session following the regular conduct of business, <br />Council was asked to discuss the agreerrent for extension of utility services to <br />the North Industrial Site.
