Flores and Councilmen Dela Rosa, <br />King, Tauch and Yarbrough was filed in the office of the <br />City Secretary by Mrs. Virginia C. O'Bryan and Mr. Ellis Serur. <br />In the absence of the City Secretary, the petition was received <br />by the Deputy City Secretary. (See Exhibit "A") <br /> <br />The petition contained the signatures of 340 persons. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />An examination of the petition revealed that three signers were <br />not residents of the City at the time the petition was filed, <br />three signers had affixeditheir names twice to the document, <br /> <br />one signer was not a registered voter, one signer was deceased <br /> <br /> <br />at the ~ime the petition was presented, and one signature <br /> <br /> <br />appears to be a duplication of handwriting used in another <br /> <br /> <br />signature on the petition. A specific description ident~fying <br /> <br /> <br />these signatures which have been declared void is attached as <br /> <br />Exhibit "B". <br /> <br />Since December 27, 1972, 53 signers have requested that their <br />names be withdrawn from the petition. A I ist of these persons <br />is attached as Exhibit "Cu. The original requests are on file <br />in the ni~y Secretary's office. <br /> <br />I <br />
