<br />I <br /> <br />J <br /> <br />EXH I Bit "A" <br />TO: THE CITY SECRETARY, CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been a marked decrease in the efficiency of <br />the City government of the City of San Marcos, Texas, since October, <br />1971; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been a marked increase in administrative <br />expenses of the City of San Marcos, Texas, since October, 1971; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the resident citizens of the City of San Marcos are <br />not given reasonable access for the, right of inspection of the public <br />records of the Ci ty of San Marcos; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and the Members of the City Council of the <br />City of San Marcos have been advised of the widespread dissatisfaction <br />of the residents and qualified voters of the City of San Marcos with <br />the present City Manager of the City of San Marcos as well as the <br />members of his,administrative staff hired by him; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and the Members of the City Council of the <br />City of San Marcos have seen fit to seemingly ignore the wishes of <br />the people of the City of San Marcos by not having heretofore requir- <br />ed the resignation, or "firing", of the present City Manager of the <br />City of San Marcos and all the members of his administrative staff <br />hi red by him <br /> <br />THEREFORE, we, the undersigned residents and qualified voters <br />of the City of San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, in the exercise of the <br />rights reserved to the people of this City in Section 6.07 of th'e <br />present Charter of the City of San Marcos, hereby demand an immediate <br />recall election for the removal of the following elected officials <br />of the City of San Marcos: <br /> <br />Luciano Flores, Mayor <br />Guillermo DelaRosa, Member of City Council <br />Herbert Yarbrough, Member of City Council <br />Ross King, Member of City Council <br />David R. Tauch. Member of City Council <br />
