~ ORDER FOR CITY OFFICERS' ELECTION THE STATE OF TEXAS X CITY OF SAN MARCOS X I I, Luciano H. Flores, in my capacity as Mayor of the City of San Marcos, Texas, do hereby order that an election be held in said City on the 3rd day of April, 1973, for the purpose of electing the following officials for said City: COUNCILMAN, PLACE 6 COUNCILMAN, PLACE 7 That in accordance with an order adopted by the City Council of said City, said election shall be held at the following places in said City, and the following named persons are hereby appointed officers for said election. In Election Precinct No.6, at Guadalupe Hall, in said City, with Mrs. J.T. Avila as Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to assist her which shall not exceed four (4) clerks. In Election Precinct No.8, at American Legion Hall, in said City, with Mrs. Chris Brasher as Presiding Jugge, and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to assist her which shall not exceed four (4) clerks. I In Election Precinct No. 10, at Masonic Temple, in said City, with Mrs. Jack Wood as Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to assist her which shall not exceed four (4) clerks. In Election Precinct No. 11, at Dunbar Community Center, in sa~d City, with Yancy Yarbrough as Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to assist him which shall not exceed four (4) clerks. In Election Precinct No. 12, at Bonham School, in said City, with Joe Gonzales as Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to assist him which shall not exceed four (4) clerks. In Election Precinct No. 13, at Public Library, in said City, with Mrs. J.R. Thornton as Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to assist her which shall not exceed four (4) clerks. In Election Precinct No. 14, at St. John's Parish Hall, in said City with Will iam C. Allbright as Presiding Judge, and said Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to assist him which shall not exceed four (4) clerks. i III I Doriss Hambrick is hereby appointed Clerk for absentee voting, and James B. Baugh is hereby appointed Deputy Clerk for absentee voting. The absentee voting shall be held at City Hall within said City and said place of absentee voting shall remain open for at least eight hours on each day for absentee voting which is not a Saturday, a Sunday, or an official State hOliday, beginning on the 20th day and continuing through the 4th day preceding the date of said election. Said place of voting shall remain open between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on each day for said absentee voting. The above described place for absentee voting is also the absentee clerk's ma~ling address to which ballot applications and ballots voted by mail may be sent.
