<br />~ <br /> <br />ORDER FOR CITY OFFICERS' ELECTION <br /> <br />THE STATE OF TEXAS X <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS X <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I, Luciano H. Flores, in my capacity as Mayor of the City <br />of San Marcos, Texas, do hereby order that an election be <br />held in said City on the 3rd day of April, 1973, for the <br />purpose of electing the following officials for said City: <br /> <br />COUNCILMAN, PLACE 6 <br /> <br />COUNCILMAN, PLACE 7 <br /> <br />That in accordance with an order adopted by the City Council <br />of said City, said election shall be held at the following <br />places in said City, and the following named persons are <br />hereby appointed officers for said election. <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No.6, at Guadalupe Hall, in said City, <br />with Mrs. J.T. Avila as Presiding Judge, and said Presiding <br />Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to assist her which <br />shall not exceed four (4) clerks. <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No.8, at American Legion Hall, in said <br />City, with Mrs. Chris Brasher as Presiding Jugge, and said Presiding <br />Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to assist her which <br />shall not exceed four (4) clerks. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. 10, at Masonic Temple, in said City, <br />with Mrs. Jack Wood as Presiding Judge, and said Presiding <br />Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to assist her which <br />shall not exceed four (4) clerks. <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. 11, at Dunbar Community Center, in <br />sa~d City, with Yancy Yarbrough as Presiding Judge, and said <br />Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to assist <br />him which shall not exceed four (4) clerks. <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. 12, at Bonham School, in said City, <br />with Joe Gonzales as Presiding Judge, and said Presiding <br />Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to assist him which <br />shall not exceed four (4) clerks. <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. 13, at Public Library, in said City, <br />with Mrs. J.R. Thornton as Presiding Judge, and said Presiding <br />Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to assist her which <br />shall not exceed four (4) clerks. <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. 14, at St. John's Parish Hall, in said City <br />with Will iam C. Allbright as Presiding Judge, and said <br />Presiding Judge shall appoint the necessary clerks to assist <br />him which shall not exceed four (4) clerks. <br /> <br />i III <br />I <br /> <br />Doriss Hambrick is hereby appointed Clerk for absentee voting, <br />and James B. Baugh is hereby appointed Deputy Clerk for <br />absentee voting. The absentee voting shall be held at City <br />Hall within said City and said place of absentee voting shall <br />remain open for at least eight hours on each day for absentee <br />voting which is not a Saturday, a Sunday, or an official State <br />hOliday, beginning on the 20th day and continuing through the <br />4th day preceding the date of said election. Said place of <br />voting shall remain open between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and <br />5:00 p.m. on each day for said absentee voting. The above <br />described place for absentee voting is also the absentee <br />clerk's ma~ling address to which ballot applications and ballots <br />voted by mail may be sent. <br />
