<br />1- <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />regular meeting, october 8, 1973 <br /> <br />page four <br /> <br />Councilman Dibrell moved the postponment of the October 22 Regular <br />Meeting to October 23, 1973 at the regular time and place. Mr. King <br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Councilman Cunningham reported that the committee studying the <br />ordinance prohibiting the placement of circulars on utility poles <br />wished to recommend that the ordinance be amended to allow such placement, <br />to require a permit for such placement, and to place responsibility for <br />removal of such printed material on the person applying for the permit <br />or, in the case of elections, the campaign manager or local party chairman. <br /> <br />Mr. DeLa Rosa requested consideration be given the opening of Lamar- <br />Street and Barbara Drive. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Mayor Etheredge moved to give immediate notice that, as of June 1, 1974, <br />City Park would no longer be available for camper caravans. Mr. Flores <br />seconded the motion. George Gilbert and Leo Poor~, representing the <br />Chamber of Commerce, came before the Council to request reconsideration <br />of the situation before action was taken. Mr. Dibrell moved to <br />postpone the discussion to a workshop session. Dr. Tauch seconded the <br />motion.
