<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />THE STATE OJ: TEX,'.S' 1 <br />COUNTY OF HAYS 1 <br /> <br />CONTRACT <br /> <br />}fuereas, the Hays-Caldwell Community Action Agency, a non-profit <br /> <br />III corporation, charted by the Office of the Secretary of State, Internal <br /> <br /> <br />Revenue Service identification number 74-1541726, does hereby agree to <br /> <br /> <br />enter into a contract. with the political subdivision of the State:"f <br /> <br />Texas known as the City of San Marcos. <br /> <br /> <br />Whereas, the terms of said contract will include the following: <br /> <br />1. The City of San Marcos will fund the Hays-Caldwell Community <br />Action Agency in the amount of $15.000 and any additional funds <br />that th~City may grant to operate a Legal Aid and Assistance <br />program pursuant to the data as described in appendix one (1) <br /> <br />of this contract. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />2. The Hays-Caldwell Community Action Agency will assume respon- <br /> <br /> <br />.sibility for proper management and accounting 'of all funds <br /> <br /> <br />delegated by the City of San Marcos to the Hays-Caldwell Commu-. <br />nity Acti.on Agency in this' cOntract.; <br /> <br />4. Periodic and timely progress reports ~n program implementation <br /> <br /> <br />will be provided by the Hays-Caldwell Community Action J\.8lill1ey <br /> <br />at the rl>quest of the San Marcos City Manager or any member of <br /> <br />the City Council of San Marcos, Texas. <br /> <br />5. The amount of monies specified in #1 ab~vewith the provision for <br /> <br />additional funds at a latter date will be the only commitpnent by <br /> <br /> <br />the City of San Marcos to the program described in appendix one (1) <br /> <br />of this contract. <br />
