<br />or use in or about any premises.

<br />(2) Chapter 3, Section 301.1 - GENERAL:
<br />Shall be deleted in its entirity and a new Section 301.1
<br />General shall read as follows: For the purpose of
<br />this Code there shall be established a Fire District
<br />and such Fire District shall be outlined as to additions,
<br />blocks, and lots in the Fire District.

<br />(3) Subsection 301.4 entitled SCOPE, shall be deleted in
<br />its entirity, and a new section 301.4 entitled
<br />Fire District shall be adopted as follows:
<br />
<br />a. Subsection 301.4, the Fire District shall
<br />include the following additions, blocks,
<br />and lots: In the San Marcos original addition:
<br />Block 21, Lots 4 & 5, Block 22, Lots 1 through 8,
<br />Block 4, Lots 1 through 8, Block 5, Lots 1
<br />through 8, Block 9, Lots 1 through 8, Block 8,
<br />Lots 1 through 8, Block 7, Lots 1 through 8,
<br />Block 23, Lots 1 through 8, Block 24, Lots 1
<br />through 8, Block 20, Lots 1 through 8, Block 13,
<br />Lots 1 through 16, Block 1, Lots 1 through 4,
<br />Block 12, Lots 1 through 10 and 14 through 16,
<br />Block 16, Lots 4 through 7, Block 11, Lots 2
<br />through 8, Block 15, Lots 1,2,7, and 8, Block 10,
<br />Lots 1 through 8, Block 14, Lots 1,2,3, and 8,
<br />Block 25, Lots 1,2,7, and 8; in the M.E. Coffield
<br />Addition, Lots 1 through 8; and Farm Lot 22, a
<br />tract bounded by Fredericksburg Street on the
<br />west, Guadalupe Street on the east, Block 25
<br />of the original town on the south, and a private
<br />drive belonging to Elmer Satterwhite on the north.

<br />b. The Fire District as outlined by additions,
<br />blocks, and lots, metes and bounds as described
<br />in Section 301.4a shall be shown on a map
<br />which shall be available to the public and
<br />becomes a part of this ordinance.

<br />(4) Section 1302.1 of said Code is amended so that Section 1302.1
<br />General is deleted in its entirity and a new subsection
<br />1302.1 entitled Minimum Foundation for Single Family
<br />and Two Family Residential is as follows:

<br />a. Minimum requirements for a single story wood
<br />frame residence containing less than 600 square
<br />feet of habitable area shall be as follows:
<br />Outside concre.te beams 10" wide, 18" in depth
<br />with two (2) j4 bars top and bottom, stirrups
<br />every 6 feet; slab shall be minimum 3-5/8"
<br />thick with j/3 bars 18" on center both ways
<br />or 6" x 6" x 6" wire mesh; there shall be a
<br />cross beam of area if slab is over 400 square
<br />feet; cross beam to be 10" wide by 16" deep
<br />with two (2) #4 bars top and bottom with stirrups
<br />every 6 feet; top of concrete slab shall be a
<br />minimum 6" above finished grade of yard. The
<br />minimum requirements for a single story wood
<br />frame residence containing more than 600 square
<br />feet in habitable area shall be as follows:
<br />Outside concrete beams shall be minimum 10"
<br />wide and 24" in depth, with two (2) j/4 bars
<br />top and bottom, and stirrups every 6 feet;
<br />the slab shall be a minimum of 3-5/8" thick
<br />with #3 bars 18" on center both ways or 6" x 6" x 6"
<br />wire mesh; cross beams shall be placed dividing
<br />slab area into minimum of 400 square feet areas;
<br />cross beams shall be 10" wide by 16" deep with
