I I I AMENDMENT TO APPLICATION FOR ASSISTANCE IN PLANNING AND CARRYING our WORKS OF IMPROVEMENT UNDER THE WATERSHED PROTECTION AND FLOOD PREVENTION ACT TO THE HONORABLE SECRETARY OF AGRICULTURE UNITED STATED DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE WASHINGTON, D. C. The Commissioners Court of Hays County, the City of San Marcos and the Comal, Hays, Guadalupe Soil Conservation District request an amendment of their previous application, dated January 23, 1969, for Federal assistance under the Watershed Protection and Flood Prevention Act in preparing and carrying out plans for works of improvement for the Upper San Marcos watershed, State of Texas, such amendment to be for the purpose of adding the Upper San Marcos Watershed Reclamation and Flood Control District as one of the sponsors of said watershed. Thus, said District now joins in bear- ing legal and financial responsibility for the installation of the necessary structural measures, together with the operation and maintenance thereof. Said Upper San Marcos Watershed Reclamation and Flood Control District also executes this request in order to signify its assumption of such joint responsibility.
