I I I I I ~ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS ACKNOWLEDGING THE DISCLOSURE BY COMMISSIONER CHARLEY WILLIAMS OF OWNER- SHIP OF CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN A PROPOSED URBAN RENEWAL PROJECT WITHIN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, KNOWN AS THE "EL MOLINO PROJECT", AND FINDING NO VIOLATION OF THE PUBLIC INTEREST IN SAID REGARD. WHEREAS, a full disclosure has been made by Commissioner Charley Williams concerning his ownership since March, 1968, of property now planned to be included in a proposed Urban Renewal Project known as the EL MOLINO PROJECT within the City of San Marcos; and, WHEREAS, said ownership was in no way influenced by the location of said Urban Renewal Project and the said Charley Williams has heretofore certified that he would participate in no action affecting such property; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: l. The disclosure by Commissioner Charley Williams of ownership of that property known as: Part of Lot X,Block 6, of the D. W. Breeding addition to the City of San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, recorded in Volume ll4, page 46 of the Deed Records of Hays County, Texas. Part of Lot X, Block 6, of the D. W. Breeding addition to the City of San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, SAVE AND EXCEPT that portion of said lot conveyed to Charley Williams. This property is recorded in Volume l2l, page 609 of the Deed Records of Hays County, Texas. Part of Lots 7 and 8, Block 7, in the D. S. Combs addition to the City of San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, conveyed to Oscar Williams by B. J. Thomas, C. C. Thomas, P. F. Thomas, T. W. Thomas, and recorded in Volume 114, page 46, of the Deed Records of Hays County, Texas. which is proposed to be included within the Urban Renewal Agency's EL MOLINO PROJECT, is hereby acknowledged and is entered upon the minutes of this Council. 2. This Council hereby finds upon examination of the facts concerning the case that no conflict or violation of the public interest is involved in said ownership, and that said property was acquired prior to the designation of such project and was in no way influenced by such project or in the designation of the boundaries of the project area.
