A Public Hearing was held on a requested zoning change from D.B. <br />and Ruth Thomas on their property - lots 11, 12, 13, 14 in the San <br />Marcos Heights Subdivision and also a two acre tract out of the T.J. <br />Chambers Survey adjoining these lots to the rear. The requested change <br />is from "R-l" (single family residential) to "D" (multifamily). After <br />due consideration the Commission agreed to forward the request to the <br />City Council with a recommendation from the Commission to grant the <br />zoning change "...contingent on the dedication of sufficient right- <br />of-way to give the City the necessary 60 feet of right-of-way at that <br />point." <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />B. A Public Hearing was held on a requested zoning change from Mrs. <br />J.W. Smith on her property located at 401 N. Guadalupe Street. The <br />requested change is from "D" (multifamily) to "c" (commercial). After <br />due consideration the Commission agreed to forward the request to the <br />City Council with the Commission's approval. <br /> <br />C. A Public Hearing was held on a requested zoning change from Mrs. <br />Margaret Christine Gary, L.T. Carpenter and Mrs. Jean Carpenter. <br />The tract of land is located on the Old Post Road and the lots are <br />adjacent to the B.G. Collier Addition, on the north. The requested <br />change is from "R-l" (single family residential) to "M". (mixed) . <br />After due consideration the Commission agreed to forward the request <br />to the City Council with the Commission's approval. <br /> <br />D. A Public Hearing was held on a requested zoning change from Mr. <br />Theodore W. Breihan on his property - lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 18, 19 and <br />20 in the Coers Addition, from "R-l" (single family residential) to <br />"R-2" (duplexes).
