Garland Stokes, Bill Veidt <br /> <br />The Mayor called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. <br /> <br />The Mayor referred to a letter from the City Attorney, ruling <br />that, even with a reduced Council of five members, the Charter <br />provision which requires four affirmative votes for any action <br />by the Council must be followed. <br /> <br />Councilman King moved that the ordinance granting a franchise <br />for a TV cable in San Marcos be tabled until a full Council <br />could be present for voting. Mr, Zavesky seconded the motion. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Charles Martin, recognized by the Mayor, asked if, during the <br />interim, another application for a TV cable franchise might <br />be considered.
