Mr. De LaRosa seconded the motion and <br />on roll call, the following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: <br />NAY: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />DeLaRosa, Emery, King, Smith, Yarbrough <br />None <br />Flores <br /> <br />The Mayor declared the motion carried. <br /> <br />The Mayor opened a public hearing on the second year of the <br />Neighborhood Development Program No. TEX.-6, administered <br />under Urban Renewal Agency. <br />Mr, Smith introduced Mrs. Laura L. Ramsay, Chairman of the <br />Urban Renewal Agency, who called on Executive Directlor <br />Jim T. Brown to present the program. <br />By use of maps, charts and films, Mr. Brown made a detailed <br />report,sta:rting with "pre-Urban Renewal" days in San Marcos, <br />and concluding with a projection of future developments during <br />the second year of NDP TEX A-6. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The Mayor thanked Mr,. Brown for an excellent and interesting <br />presentation, and asked for questions from the Council and <br />visitors, <br /> <br />Among those who asked questions and participated in the dis- <br />cussion were Augustin Lucio, Jr" former member of the.
