I I I /4c-A STATE OF TEXAS I COUNTY OF HAYS I THE UNDERSIGNED OWNER of a tract of land contiguous and adjacent to the present boundary of the City of San Marcos, Texas, said tract not exceeding one-half (!) mile in width and further having less than three residents. in accordance with Section 974g of VATS, hereby petitions the Governing Body of the City of San Marcos, Texas, to accept said tract of land within its corporate limits, that it may receive all the benefits and privileges of being a part of the City of San Marcos, Texas. Said tract is 6.00 acres of land, more or less, in the J,M, Veramendi Survey #2, in Hays County, Texas. being the same identical real property conveyed by and described in deed from Luis Gil and wife to Luis Gil, jr. and wife, dated Feb- ruary 27, 1960, recorded in Volume 181, pgs.5-7. Hays County Deed Records, LESS AND EXCEPT there- from 0.522 of an acre of land, more or less, which was conveyed to the State of Texas for highway purposes by deed dated April 24, 1961, re- corded in Volume 186. pgs. 238-239. Hays County Deed Records; and each of said deeds, together with their respective records, are here referred to and made a part hereof for all pertinent, legal and descriptive purposes. A plat of the property is attached as "EXHIBIT A".
