Yarbrough, jr., in my capacity as Mayor of the <br />City of San Marcos, Texas, do hereby order that an election <br />be held in said.cityoh the 27th day of july, t97t, for the <br />purpose of electing the rollowihgofficial: <br /> <br />COUNCILMAN, PLACE J. <br /> <br />That in accordance with an order adopted by the City Council <br />of'said City, said election shall be held at the following <br />places in said City, and the following named persons are hereby <br />appointed officers for said election. <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No.6, at Guadalupe Mission Hall, with <br />'Mrs. J.T.Avila as Presiding Judge, and the Presiding Judge <br />shall appoint an Alternate Presiding Judge and the necessary <br />clerks to assist her. <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No.8, at American Legion Hall, with <br />Carl Anderson as Presiding Judge, and the Presiding Judge <br />shall" appoint an Alternate Presiding Judge and the necessary <br />clerks to assist' him. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. 10, at Masonic Temple, with Jack <br />Kercheville as Presiding Judge, and the Presiding Judge <br />shall appoint an Alternate Presiding Judge and the necessary <br />clerks to assist him. <br /> <br />In, Election Precinct No. 11, at Cou nty Barn , with Yancy <br />Yarbrough as Presiding Judge, and the Presiding Judge shall <br />appoint an alternate Presiding Judge and the necessary <br />clerks to assist him. <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. 12, at Bonham School, with <br />Joe Gonzales as Presiding Judge, and the Presiding Judge <br />shall appoint an Alternate Presiding Judge and the necessary <br />clerks to assist him. <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. 13, at the Public Library, with <br />Mrs. J.R. Thornton as Presiding Judge, and the Presiding Judge <br />shall appoint an Alternate Presiding Judge and the necessary <br />clerks to assist her. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />In Election Precinct No. 14, at Fire Station No.3, with <br />BIas Mendez, jr. as Presiding Judge, and' the Presiding Judge <br />shall appoint an A~ternate Presiding Judge and the necessary <br />clerks to assist him. <br /> <br />George C. Reed is hereby appointed Clerk for absentee voting, <br />and Nell Slaughter is hereby appointed Deputy Clerk for absentee <br />voting. The absentee voting for the above designated election <br />shall be held at City Hall within said City, and said place of <br />absentee voting shall remain open for at least eight hours on <br />each day for absentee voting which is not a Saturday, a Sunday, <br />or an official State holiday, beginning on the twentieth day <br />and continuing through the fourth day preceding the date of said <br /> <br />election.
