..~'-- SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, OCTOBER 6, 1969 Present: Mayor Ellis Serur I Councilmen: Emmie Craddock, Ph.D. Frank Contreras, jr. Ronald J. Dannelley Luciano H. Flores Hollis W. Smith Jerry Zavesky City Manager City Secretary Richard G. Bean Dorothy O. Worrell Visitors: James R. Cole, Lucien Raymond, Jack Dennino The Mayor called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. The City Manag~r presented for consideration, Change Order #3 on ProjectPFL~Tex-211, WPC-Tex-479, San Marcos Sewage Treatment Plant, under cQ~t~act to The Boswell Company. A copy of the Change Order and ~ngineer's Statement are attached. Mr. Bean explained the reasons for the Change Order. Mr. Da\1nelley moved approval of Change Order #3. Dr. Craddock seconded the motion and on roll call, the following vote was recorded: I AYE: Craddock, Contreras, Dannelley, Flores, Serur, Smith, Zavesky NAY: None The Mayor declared the motion carried. The City Manager presented for consideration a Resolution accepting an amendatory offer from the Federal Gover~ment to assist in the cost of Project PFL-Tex-211, see attached. Dr. Craddock moved approval of the Resolution, Mr. Flores seconded the motion and on roll c.ll the following vote was recorded: AYE: Craddock, Contreras, Dannelley, Flores Serur, Smith, Zavesky NAY: None The Mayor declared the Resolution Passed and Approved. I Mr. Bean stated that the Department of Housing and Urban Development had aatherized the City to issue a work odder to George Consolidated, Inc., contractor for the Water & Sewer Project. Mr. Lucien Raymond of George Consolidated, present at the meeting, said the work would start Thursday.
