REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, DECEMBER 22,1969 Present: Mayor Ellis Serur I Councilmen: Frank Contreras, jr. Ronald J. Dannelley Luciano H. Flores Hollis W. Smith City Manager City Secretary Richard G. Bean Dorothy O.Worrell Absent: Councilwoman Councilman Emmie Craddock, Ph.D. Jerry Zavesky Visitors: Peter Rodriguez, jr., Lanny ~ravy The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:30 p;m. The Minutes of the December 8, 1969 meeting were approved as presented" on motion of Mr. Smith and second of Mr. Dannelley. The Mayor introduced an Ordinance and read the following caption: II AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AN ORDINANCE ADOPTED ON Di::CEMBER4. 1951, BY DELETING CERTAIN TERRITORY PRESENTLY WITHIN THE FIRE LIMITS OF THE Cny OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS; INCORPORATING HEREIN BY REf- ERENCEALLORDINANCESAND RESOLUTIONS HERETOFORE PROMULGATED BY THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS REGULATING FIRE LIMITS; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; AND EST ABU SHI NG AN EFFECTI VE DATE Councilman Dannelley moved adoption of the Ordinance on third and final reading. Councilman Smith seconded~he motion and on roll call. the following vote was recorded: AYE: NAY: Contreras, None Dannelley, Flores, Serur, Smith The Mayor declared the Ordinanc~ Passed. Approved and Adopted. The Mayor introduced an Ordinance annexing 40.5 acres owned by Thermonlndustrial Development Corp. Mr. Contreras moved adoption of the Ordinance on second reading. Mr~ Dannelley seconded the motion and on 1'011 call, the following vote was recorded: I AYE: NAY: Contreras, Dannelley, Flores, Serur, Smith None The Mayor declared the Ordinance passed on second reading. The Mayor introduced an Ordinance annexing 15.1 acres owned by J. C. Varner. Mr. Dannelley moved adoption of the Ordinance on first reading. Mr. Contreras seconded the motion and on roll call, the following vote was recorded:
