I I HEREBY CERTIFY that there is on file and of record in my office a certificate of the Attorney General of the state of Texas to the effect that this Bond has been examined by him as required by law, and that he finds that it has been issued in conformity with the Constitution and laws of the state of Texas, and that it is a valid and binding special obligation of the City of San Marcos, Texas; payable from the revenues pledged to its payment by and in the Ordinance authorizing same, and said Bond has this day been registered by me. WITNESS MY HAND and seal of office, at Austin, Texas, this I Comptroller of Public Accounts of the State of Texas. Section IX. Definitions. That throughout this Ordinance the following terms as used herein shall have the meanings set forth below,unless the text hereof specifically indicates otherwise: (a) "City" means the City of San Marcos. (b) "City Council" and/or "Council" means the governing body of the City. (c) "Bonds" shall mean the $1,447,000 City of San Marcos, Texas, Junior Lien Waterworks and Sewer System Revenue Bonds, Series 1968, dated July 1, 1968,'~uthorized by this Ordinance. (d) "outstanding Bonds" shall mean the City of San Marcos, Texas, Waterworks and Sewer Improvement and Extension Revenue I Bonds, Series 1951, dated January 1, 1951, and the City of San Marcos, Texas, Waterworks and Sewer Improvement and Extension Revenue Bonds, Series 1951-A, dated January 1, 1951. (e) "Additional Bonds" shall mean the additional parity) revenue bonds permitted to be issued under the provisions of this Ordinance. - 12 -
