<br />I <br /> <br />That the, offer of the United states of America to purchase <br />the $1,400,000 balance of Bonds herein authorized, being Bonds <br />numbered 40 to 319, inclusive, maturing on January 1 in each of <br />the years 1977 to 2008, inclusive, at a price of par and accrued <br />interest to date of delivery, constitutes the best and highest bid <br />received by the City for such Bonds; that the sale of said <br />$1,400,000 of Bonds to the United States of America in accordance <br />with the terms of the offer made and by this City Council duly <br />accepted, is hereby confirmed; and that the Mayor and City Secretary <br />of the City of San Marcos are hereby authorized, directed and in- <br />structed to do all things necessary to deliver to the United States <br />of America, Bonds numbered 40 to 319, inclusive, in the total <br />principal amount of $1,400,000. <br />Sectio~XXVJII. Emergency.
