A request for annexation was received from W. S. Rader on
Tanglewood #3, consisting of 5.02 acres of land. After due dis-
cussion and consideration by the Commission, it was agreed to for-
ward this request to the City Council with the Commission's approval.
See attached petition and map.

I

B. A group of concerned citizens who live in the Oak Heights Sub-
division carne before the Commission to protest the building of a
trailer park adjacent to the Northwest City Limit line, in Westover.
Two objections that were discussed were the possible pollution of
the Edwards Underground Water Supply and over-crowding of schools.
Mr. James Burwell, Sanitarian, talked briefly of the possible pollution
of the water should the owner of this property provide his own sewage
disposal plant as he now plans to do.

After due discussion, the Commission wishes to respectfully request
the City Council to initiate annexation of this property, as well
as other acreage in the Westover area of town. A map, showing the
proposed annexation, will be available at Monday night's meeting.

Sincerely yours,

L-vL-Z-- ?UtU~

(Mrs.) Vel Wallis
Secretary, Planning &
Zoning Commission

I

II

7 c'
