/~7.5 -/I I DESCRIPTION OF AN AREA TO BE ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS,LYING ADJACENT TO THE PRESENT WESTERN CORPORATE LIMITS I THE STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF HAYS FIELDNOTE DESCRIPTION of a tract or parcel of land lying West of and adjacent to the present Westerly Corporate City Limits of the City of San Marcos, Texas, and embracing ap~roximately 280 acres of land. Said 280 acre parcel of land is more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows, to wit: BEGINNING at a point for the most northerly corner of the herein described parcel, said point also marks the West corner of Lot 20, Block "A" of Hughson Heights Subdivision as shown by plat of record in Plat Book 1, page 59 of the Hays County Deed Records~ THENCE, with the Southern boundary of Hughson Heights Subdivision, S 790 40' E, passing the South corner of Lot 20, the Southwest corner of Lot 16, and the Southeast corner of Lot 16, for a total distance of 330.90 feet to a point for corner; THENCE, continuing with said Hughson Heights Southern boundary, S 670 40' E along the South line of Lots 5 thru 15 for a distance of 908.67 feet to a point for corner marking the Southeast corner of Lot 5, same being the most Westerly Northwest corner of Lot 3; I THENCE, continuing along the West lines of Lots 1, 2 and 3, Block "A" of Hughson Heights, S l~o 15' West for a distance of 214.00 feet to a point for corner located in the Northeast Right- of-Way line of State Ranch Road No. 12 (Blanco Road) and also marking the Southwest corner of said Lot 1; THENCE,'with the Northeast Right-of-Way line of Ranch Road No. 12, same being the South line of said Lot 1, S 540 08' E for 129.91 feet to a point for corner marking the South corner of Lot 1 as located at the intersection of the West Right-of-Way line of Hughson Drive with the Northeast Right-of-Way line of Ranch Road No. 12; THENCE, S 530 57' E 61.16 feet, crossing,Hughson Drive to a poi nt for corner, same bei ng the West corner o"f I:.ot 3, Block "K" of said Hughson Heights Subdivision as located in the Northeast Right-of-Way line of Ranch Road No. 12; THENCE, continuing with the Northeast Right-of-Way line of Ranch Road No. 12 and the Southwest line of said Lot 3, S 500 37' E for a distance of 93.57 feet to a point for the South corner of Lot 3, same being the West corner of Lot 2 of Block "K"; I THENCE; continuing along the Northeast Right-of~Way line of Ranch Road No. 12 and the Southwest line of said Lot 2, S 480 04' E for 99.87 feet to a point for the South corner of Lot 2~ same being the' West corner of Lot 1 of Block "K"; THENCE, continuing alDng the Northeast Right-rif-Way line of Ranch Road No. 12 and the Southwest line of said Lot 1, Block "K", S 450 53' E for a distance of 100.00 feet to a point for the.South corner of Lot 1, same being the most southern corner of Hughson Heights Subdivision; !yY~ .
