That it shall be unlawful for any person to change or <br /> <br /> <br />amend, by additions or deletions, any part or portion of such Code, <br /> <br /> <br />or to insert or delete pages or portions thereof, or to alter or <br /> <br /> <br />tamper with such Code in any manner whatsoever which will cause <br /> <br /> <br />the law of tbe City of San Marcos to be misrepresented tbereby. <br /> <br /> <br />Any person violating this section sball be punisbedas provided in <br /> <br /> <br />Section 4 of this ordinance. <br /> <br /> <br />Section 9. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict <br /> <br /> <br />berewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. <br /> <br /> <br />Section 10. That the immediate public peace, bealth and safety <br /> <br /> <br />being endangered du~ to tbe fact that the ordinances of the City of <br /> <br /> <br />San Marcos have not been codified in more than 65 years; there- <br /> <br /> <br />fore, an emergency exists, requiring that the provisions of the <br /> <br /> <br />Charter of the City of San Marcos which provide that all ordinances <br /> <br /> <br />shall be read in open meeting of the Council on three several days, <br /> <br />and that no ordinance shall be effective until the expiration of ten <br /> <br />(10) days following tbe date of its final passage, be dispensed with <br /> <br />at tbis time. Thus, this ordinance shall be in full force and effect <br /> <br />from and after tbe date hereof. <br /> <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this the <br />A.
