Mr. Hansen seconded the <br />motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Flores requested a report by the next regular meeting on <br />traffic signalization at the intersection of Hopkins and L.B.J. <br />Drive. <br /> <br />Marilyn Gillis and Shirley Davis, who reside above the San Marcos <br />Department Store, came before the Council with complaints of <br />excessive noise from a nightclub located across the street on I <br />L.B.J. Drive and San Antonio. Jeff Henry and Ira Kennedy, owner <br />and manager of the "Too Bitter", were present with attorney <br />Gerald Klossner, to state that efforts had been made to curb the <br />level of sound from the live bands playing there so that residents <br />in the area would not be disturbed. The Council discussed possible <br />solutions to the prop1em and a proposal from Mr. Cunningham for <br />a noise pollution ordinance.
