Pennington; <br />Jerri Martin; Melissa Millecam; Terry Roberts; Rowe Ray; and others. <br /> <br />The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The Minutes of the Regular Meeting held November 11, 1974, were approved on <br />motion of Mr. Sutton and second of Mr. Hansen, with Mr. Dibrell abstaining. <br /> <br />The Mayor welcomed students from San Marcos High School participating in <br />Senior Government Day. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The Mayor opened a Public Hearing to consider a request for a change in zoning <br />of part of Farm Lot 23 from flCfI to "C-2". The applicant, D. Capwell Lawson, <br />was not present. There were no persons present to object to the requested <br />change; however, it was noted that a petition, duly sworn, had been presented <br />in objection to the change, and signed by more than 50% of property owners <br />within two hundred feet of the property in question. The Mayor closed the <br />hearing and read the caption of the Ordinance as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND <br />RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, <br />DATED MAY 23, 1966 (VOL. 32) BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF PART OF FARM LOT <br />23, LOCATED AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF GUADALUPE AND CONCHO STREETS, <br />FROM "CfI (COMMERCIAL) TO "C-2" (COMMERCIAL). <br /> <br />Mr. Dibrell moved the Ordinance not be approved. Mr. Sutton seconded the motion. <br />Mr. Cunningham moved the first reading of the Ordinance be tabled since the <br />applicant was not present. Mr. Flores seconded the motion. On the motion to <br />table, the vote, by roll call, was recorded as follows: <br /> <br />AYE: Cunningham, Craddock, Flores <br />NAY: Breihan, Dibrell, Hansen, Sutton. <br /> <br />The Mayor declared the motion failed. On the motion to disapprove the Ordinance, <br />the vote, by roll call, was recorded as follows: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />AYE: <br />NAY: <br /> <br />Breihan, Dibrell, Hansen, Sutton <br />Cunningham, Craddock, Flores. <br /> <br />The Mayor declared the motion passed and the Ordinance not approved. <br /> <br />MaY9r Craddock opened a Public Hearing to consider an Ordinance relating. to <br />F16od~in Management. The City Manager gave a brief summary of the major <br />poini~ of the Ordinance. There were no objections presented. The Mayor <br />closed the hearing and read the caption of the Ordinance as follows: <br />
