<br />106 <br /> <br />regular meeting, september 8, 1975 <br /> <br />page six <br /> <br />Bob Derrick, representing Byrn/Forrest & Cotten, presented the preliminary <br />design work on the project for drainage improvements in enumeration distriet II <br />(1, 2 and 3 eonfluence) of the Community Development Program. Mr. Derrick <br />explained that it appeared sO far that a drainage piping system based on a <br />twenty-five year flood elevation could be implemented for the $480,000 budgeted. <br />Mr. Derriek reminded the Couneil that the <plan presented was only the first <br />phase of the proposed three-year program. By common eonsent, the Council authorized <br />engineers to proceed with design work on the project. <br /> <br />Mr. Apolinar Mendoza came before the Couneil with an invitation to attend the <br />celebration of the 165th anniversary of Mexd.can independenee to be held on <br />September 15 by Soeiedad Mutualista Cuauhtemoc. Mr. Mendoza also told the <br />Council that the tree promised for the new eity hall would be planted on that <br />day.
