161 regular meeting, december 15, 1975 page three The Mayor read the caption of an Ordinance as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 16, "MISCELLANEOUS OF.FENSES AND PROVISIONSIl, ARTICLE I, BY REPEALING SECTIONS 16-2 (a) AND (b) PROHIBITING THE SALE OF GLUE, CEMENT, AND CERTAIN OTHER SUBSTANCES AND ENACTING A NEW SUBSECTION (a) AND (b) TO SECTION 16-2 PROHIBITING THE SALE OF AEROSOL PAINT CONTAINING TOLUOL OR TOLUENE TO PERSONS UNDER 17 YEARS OF AGE AND REQUIRING COMMERCIAL ESTABLISHMENTS OFFERING SUCH SUBSTANCES FOR SALE TO REMOVE SUCH SUBSTANCES FROM PUBLIC ACCESS DISPLAYS. I Mr. Hansen moved approval of the Ordinance on third and final reading. Mr. Arredondo seconded the motion. Mr. Arredondo again re~uested that all persons involved with and affected by the ordinance be informed that it related to display of such items only on unattended sales floors. On roll call, the motion was approved by the following vote: AYE: Breihan, Craddock, Hansen, Sutton, Arredondo NAY: Flores. Mr. Breihan asked when a discussion of the disposition of property by the Urban Renewal Board might be in order. The City Manager suggested it be discussed in executive session. Mr. Sutton re~uested that the Urban Renewal Board come to the Council with offers received on property and that those offers then be discussed in executive session. On motion of.
