Wang; John Fitzwater; Rowe Ray; Melissa Millecam; Jerri <br />Martin; Gary Bond; Terry Roberts; and others. <br /> <br />The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The Minutes of the Regular Meeting held February 23, 1976, were approved on <br />motion of Mr. Sutton and second of Mr. Hansen. <br /> <br />Mr. Sutton moved to approve the renewal of a temporary permit for the location <br />of a mobile home in the J.M. Veramendi League Number Two next to Ramirez Exxon <br />Garage and Parts on I.H. 35 North by Luz Ramirez. Mr. Breihan seconded the <br />motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Mr. Flores moved to approve a request for a temporary permit for a mobile home <br />located on Lot 3, Block 2 of the S.F. McAllister Addition, 1120 W. San Antonio, <br />by Max Murray. Mr. Hansen seconded the motion. Mr. Breihan stated his concern <br />that mobile homes originally permitted for use by the owner or owner's family <br />were now becoming rental property. He said that he thought that usage was not <br />the intent of the ordinance and that the problem whould be taken into consideration <br />in the drafting of the new zoning ordinance. The motion to approve the permit <br />was unanimously approved. <br /> <br />The Mayor read the caption of a Resolution as follows: <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />ACCEPTING THE PROVISIONS OF STATE HIGHWAY COMMISSION MINUTE ORDER <br />REGARDING RECONDITIONING AND RESURFACING ON L.B.J. DRIVE. <br /> <br />Mr. Sutton moved approval of the Resolution. Mr. Hansen seconded'the motion. <br />The Director of Public Works explained that the project was funded under the <br />Federal Aid to Urban Systems program and would probably be carried out during <br />the latter part of the summer. On ,roll call, the following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: Hansen, Sutton, Arredondo, Breihan, Craddock <br />NAY: None <br />ABSTAIN: Flores. <br /> <br />The Mayor read the caption of a Resolution as follows: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />A:PPROVING THE JOINT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS AND <br />THE SAN MARCOS CONSOLIDATED INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT PROVIDING <br />'FOR THE JOINT USE OF RECREATIONAL FACILITIES AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE SAME ON BEHALF OF THE CITY. <br /> <br />Mr. Sutton moved approval of the Resolution. Mr. Arredondo seconded the motion, <br />which passed,unanimously. <br />
