WHEREAS, no petitton of any kind or character in respect to said not1ce to bidders and notice of intention to issue said warrants has. been flled, and the time during which such a petition could havebeenflled has elapsed; and, WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore received,opened and conSidered the bids for. the construction of the extenSions and 1mprovements to the waterworks system and sewer system; and, WHEREAS,sald bids having been found to be in proper form and order and accompanied by.the required deposits, and the City Council desiring to award contract to the lowest and best bidder; THEREFORE, BE :r'l'RESOLVED AND ORDERED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: I.
